Day One – Getting set up with the basics
Purchase your domain name
Before doing anything else, if you haven’t already, go purchase your domain name.

Day Two – Gather your branding assets
Finalize your brand colors, fonts, and logos
We know that this is a big decision! When selecting these elements, you’ll want to pick about five colors that suite your brand’s personality. If you purchase one of our website templates, you will receive a color and font guide of designer-approved font and color combinations. Our templates are also preloaded with designer picked colors and fonts.
Gather your brand photos or any photos you plan to use on your website
A few things to keep in mind while gathering your photos: avoid small/pixelated images and screenshots, ensure that images are high resolution, ensure that you have the licensing to use all images that are uploaded, never upload images that have a watermark.
Day Three – Establish your website architecture
Get clear on your website’s goals
You will need to establish a primary and secondary goal for your website
Decide which pages you’ll have on your website
It’s best to have a good idea of what pages you will need to work on for your website before you get started.
Get started on your website copy

Day Four – Start Designing!
Finish your homepage
In order to accomplish this you will need put the copy you wrote to use.
Day Five – Design Continued
Finish about page
Obviously rather than having images of random people, you are going to want to swap those out for photos of you.
Finish Blog page
Your template’s blog design should be good to go (no edits necessary) but if you want to make any design edits now is the time to do it!
Day Six – Finish Designing
Finish services page
Just like the homepage and the about page you are going to want to update the copy and replace images with your own
Finish any other pages
Add in any additional pages that are needed and use this day to complete them!
Day Seven- Get Ready to Launch
Double-check everything
Keep in mind that Showit has a moblie and desktop set up, set up all buttons to go to the right places, check spelling!
